Cookie Policy
Institute of Administrative Management · Last updated: August 2026
1. Our approach
This website is designed to be privacy-respecting by default. It does not set advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies, and it does not use cookie-based profiling of any kind.
2. What is used
The site itself sets no cookies, and makes no request to any third party: its fonts, scripts, and images are all served from the Institute’s own domain. Your display preferences (day/night mode and text size) are stored in your browser’s local storage on your own device only; this information never leaves your device and is not transmitted to the Institute. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which involves a request to Google's servers when a page loads; no cookies are set by this service in modern browsers. If we introduce services that require cookies in future — for example the member login portal or register search — we will update this policy and, where required by law, ask for your consent before any non-essential cookies are set.
3. The member portal and registers
The IAM Membership Platform and the centre/provider portal, when accessed, use strictly necessary cookies for secure sign-in and session management. These are essential cookies that do not require consent under UK law, and they are described in the portal's own notices.
4. Managing cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential cookies may prevent secure areas of IAM services from functioning.
